Frequently Asked Questions

Can you work alongside our internal team or existing agency?
Yes. Most clients keep their current team/agency. We are designed to align everyone around one plan, reduce channel silos, and eliminate conflicting priorities. Your team can implement the roadmap, or you can choose Karma X3 so we implement the first three high-impact fixes for you.
Do these service packages also have monthly fees and initial setup costs?
No. There are no ongoing monthly fees, long term contracts, or setup costs. Everything at eCom Karma is project based, not a subscription. Each package covers a defined scope of work with a clear start, end, and followup date to see how things have improved. We’re hired to deliver outcomes. We want you to feel good about the investment and earn the right to be your first contact for the next opportunity.
Do you do projects without doing a Karma Journey?
Yes. Any Karma Creative project can start immediately—the scope is custom, and it begins with a free Karma Call to discuss what you want to build. That said, if you are the type of operator who likes to protect ROI and move with conviction, a Karma Journey first is often the best first step. It makes sure the creative investment (video, photography, branding, 3D, site updates) is aimed at the highest-impact bottlenecks in your customer journey—not just more content, new product images, or modernizing the site. If you already have strong clarity on the problem and want to go full steam, we will not slow you down. We can absolutely execute a targeted creative project right away. Our philosophy for best practice is always to bring the data first so whatever you choose has the best chance of driving measurable results.
Do you have active discount codes or promotions?
On both our Karma Journey eCommerce service package and our Karma X3 service package use code KJ for your 50% advance payment. This reduces the initial payment to 50% of the total with the rest due upon project completion.
Do you offer a guarantee or refund?
We guarantee the quality and completeness of our deliverables. You will receive everything scoped in your statement of work, on time. Because our work is analysis, strategy, and implementation rather than a performance ad spend, we can't guarantee a specific revenue outcome (and anyone who does is overselling). What we can guarantee is a clear, honest assessment and a prioritized roadmap built on real data not guesswork. If you have concerns at any point during the engagement, we address them directly. Our reputation is built on referrals, so your satisfaction is everything.
How can I contact customer service?
You can use our contact form on our site, email hello@ecomkarma.com or call 720.507.8732
How deep do you go in the Karma Journey?
Very deep. This is a platform-level teardown across each step of your customer journey: Brand Discovery → Customer Research → Onsite UX → Conversion Flow → Follow-Up We use this to confidently recommend next steps for your team, or us, to implement for you that will provide real ROI. We combine account access + real buyer behavior + business context to find the true opportunities (not surface-level “tips”). Our average timeline from start to finish is 30 days. Expect for your team to share: Shopify + GA4 (and/or analytics), ad platforms (as applicable), and access to any key tools that influence conversion (reviews,support/chat). This is done via our onboarding setup and meeting with your team. Once that is done, we get to work.
How much do your service packages cost?
Our two core packages have flat, transparent pricing — no hourly rates, no scope creep surprises. Karma Journey — $2,500 A full cross-channel customer journey analysis with a prioritized 90-day roadmap, 120-minute walkthrough, Loom recording, and a follow-up coaching call 2–3 months later. Karma X3 — $5,000 Everything in the Karma Journey, plus we implement the top 3 highest-impact fixes for you. Both packages use a 50% advance payment (use code KJ at checkout) with the remainder due upon project completion. No monthly fees, no long-term contracts. Not sure which is right for you? Start with a free Karma Call.
I have project that is "off-menu." Do you support that?
Absolutely! That is actually on the menu, falls under Karma Creative, and a common request. For creative initiatives, Our Team can support the full spectrum: brand refresh, photography, video production, Meta ad management, landing pages, product detail page rebuilds, 3D/AR experiences, all coordinated to support the same customer journey growth plan.
Is a Karma Journey analysis really needed? We already have a marketing department (or agency).
In most cases, your marketing agency or internal marketing team is doing fine work on their specific responsibilities (Meta ads, email, SEO) but they are typically not responsible for the entire journey. Our intention is not to tell you what your current marketing department or agency is doing "wrong." Far from it. Our goal is to help as a team partner to shine a light on areas that can be improved and data to back it up. In marketing, you’ll often hear “top-of-funnel” and “bottom-of-funnel.” That framework can be useful for ad creative and messaging at different stages, but it can also zoom out too far. Sales don’t happen all at once. They happen one step at a time, leading to “yes.” That’s why we focus on the ENTIRE customer journey to answer the customer’s next question, build trust, and make the decision easier. When the journey improves, you increase revenue from the same traffic, your ad dollars go further, and you pay less to win each customer so you can grow profitably. Our Karma Journey service package gives you a neutral, cross-channel view and a prioritized roadmap your internal team or existing partners can use to execute to work in harmony, or we can implement the changes ourselves. Your choice. It all starts with a free Karma Call.
Is our business data kept confidential?
Yes, completely. Before we access any account — Shopify, GA4, ad platforms, or otherwise — we sign a mutual NDA. Your data, strategy, and findings are never shared outside our working team. We treat your business information with the same care we'd want for our own.
What are signs that my marketing department or ad agency may need help?
If your reports look “good” but profit, conversion rate, or repeat purchase isn’t improving, it often means someone is optimizing a channel—not the full customer journey. Common signs: rising new Customer Aquisition Cost, heavy use of discount codes to hit revenue, strong traffic but weak conversion, stagnant Average Order Value, high drop-off on product/checkout, or customers not having clarity and needing too much “hand-holding” (excessive chat and phone calls) to buy. Our Karma Journey gives you a neutral, cross-channel view so you stop paying-and-praying and can make confident decisions about what to fix next. Many brands get stuck a mental state of paying and praying “next month will be better” with long term contracts and not getting a different viewpoint. A one-time holistic Karma Journey analysis can reveal the real issues.
What do we receive at the end of a Karma Journey?
You receive a clear, owner-ready playbook your team can execute with zero ambiguity—plus full transparency on how and why we’re recommending each change. We recommend reviewing the Karma Journey product page for the full scope. Scroll down to our "Discover Your Journey" section. It effectively acts as a “pre-walkthrough” of your customer journey and helps you start thinking in stages (Brand Discovery → Customer Research → Onsite UX → Conversion Flow → Follow-Up) and where your biggest opportunites may be. What you’ll get: - A prioritized 90-day roadmap (what to fix first, and why) - Specific recommendations by funnel stage (discovery, PDP, checkout, post-purchase) - A 120-minute Zoom walkthrough with the owner/marketing lead - A Loom recording your team can use to implement internally - A follow-up coaching call 2–3 months later to review what changed and what moved Our approach is “no secrets.” We give you the full playbook so you can implement internally, use your existing team/agency, or choose for us to help with execution. We are here to improve your business and share what works. That's good karma.
What does your process look like, and how long does a project take?
Every engagement starts with a discovery call to assess your store's current performance, goals, and gaps. From there, we scope a custom roadmap — typically covering conversion optimization, SEO architecture, email/retention, and analytics. Timelines vary by scope: - Audit + strategy deliverable: 1–2 weeks - Full optimization sprint: 4–8 weeks - Ongoing retainer: month-to-month with 30-day notice You'll receive a clear statement of work before any project kicks off, so there are no surprises.
What type of businesses do you work with?
We work with businesses that sell products or services online at every stage. From a brand-new Shopify store that just launched to established brands doing millions in revenue. Early stage / just getting started: If your store is live but you're not sure what to prioritize, our DDIY (Don't Do It Yourself) consulting hours give you direct access to senior-level guidance. Ask anything, get real answers, and move faster without the guesswork. Growing brands: If you have traffic and sales but conversion, AOV, or repeat purchase isn't where it should be, a Karma Journey gives you the full-picture analysis and roadmap to fix what's actually holding you back. Scaling brands with teams or agencies: We plug in alongside your existing partners, align everyone around one plan, and eliminate the channel silos that quietly drain margin. Custom/off-menu projects: Photography, video, landing pages, PDP rebuilds, 3D/AR — if you know what you need, Karma Creative can scope and execute it directly. Not sure where you fit? A free Karma Call takes 20 minutes and we'll point you in the right direction.
Where should we start if we’re not sure which package to choose?
It all starts with a free Karma Call to discuss your unique business, situation, and goals. With that said, our Karma X3 is a popular choice for most companies. It's our "Karma x 3 Fixes" package. Karma X3 includes everything is the Karma Journey package and you choose 3 priority improvements based on what we discover and we implement them for you.
Who is actually doing the work?
You are not handed off to junior staff and everyone is 100% US based. eCom Karma is a collective of senior operators and specialists—strategy, performance, UX, Shopify Plus, conversion Rate optimization, lifecycle, creative, and technical—brought in based on what your business needs. For creative initiatives, we can support the full spectrum: brand refresh, photography, video production, landing pages, PDP rebuilds, 3D/AR experiences, and more—all coordinated to support the same customer journey plan.
